As promised, here are my wanna be expert but random thoughts on the respective candidates’ speeches and other non-linear stuff from the DNC and RNC.  As usual, remember to respectfully share your thoughts, opinions, and corrections.

SPEECHES:

John McCain: He was solid.  Not the greatest or fanciest orator but clear communicator.  Thought he handled the hecklers extremely well.  Enjoyed the way he thanked and congratulated Obama. Heard it often but was moved by hearing his POW story personally from him.  But grew very tired of the line, “rather lose an election than lose a war.”  Please…no more.  His demeanor, his story, his authenticity = Grade:  Read the rest of this entry »

Umm, so Melbourne takes their street art/tagging/graffiti pretty seriously. Blocks after blocks. Another attempt to become the greatest amateur smartphone photographer. St. Paul's Anglican Church. #Melbourne #Australia #GalaxyNote4 Wow. St. Paul's Anglican Church in the heart of Melbourne. Was mesmerized by the juxtaposition of the church, skyline, and clouds. Also, diggin' the "Let's Fully Welcome Refugees" sign. Sydney Public Markets. Lovin' the overall vibe and the international diversity of the city. #australia What a joy to preach today at this beautiful inner city Anglican church in Sydney, Australia. Loved the liturgy and sacraments. ...And the Seahawks logo. :) Why, hello there Sydney. Nice to meet you.
