I often wrestle with the self imposed "You're not doing enough" which is very easy in a world of so much pain and injustice. But then subtly, that thinking becomes "You're not enough." Then, I slide into ego and narcissism - thinking that it's about me, myself, and I. And then, I dangerously get mired in my Savior complex. And then, there's no joy...or love. And my purpose becomes intertwined with earning my worth and building a name for myself.
