If Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, fully God and fully human, chose to regularly and rhythmically retreat for silence, prayer, and time with God the Father...How much more do we need this gift, practice, and discipline in our lives?
This is my life. Trying to juggle family life, important virtual meetings with members of Congress, taking care of our pet, getting in 10000 daily steps, practicing my handles in the backyard, grabbing food in between when I can, and trying to stay cool in the PNW heat.
