Quest Church invites you to join us as we welcome Dr. John Perkins for an evening of worship, teaching, and celebration.  This event takes place on Saturday, February 24 from 7-9pm.  Doors will open at 6.30pm and Q Cafe will be open for your enjoyment before and after the event. In addition to Dr. John Perkins, worship will be led by the Quest Worship Band and the amazing Danelle Daymon and Royalty Gospel Choir.

Advanced tickets are $5 (before 2/21).  Tickets after 2/21 and at door (if available) are $10.  Proceeds will go towards the Perkins Foundation.

Trust me when I say that this will be the best $5 you will ever use in your lifetime.  To register, click here.  If you’re in the larger Seattle area, bring a couple of your folks to hear Dr. Perkins preach from his heart about Reconciliation.

Since I cannot come to hear Dr. Perkins, could you write a summary on the theme RECONCILIATION (whenever you have time)?

God has been speaking to me regarding the ministry of reconciliation lately, so I felt God may want to enrich me more…

These are crazy times in our country and larger world but nevertheless, we're going to keep pursuing the things that God has placed upon our hearts. We're pressing forward...doing our part to reflect mercy, compassion, and justice - locally and globally.

Wednesdays are my @onedayswages office day and I especially love the culmination of hard work for our interns, volunteers, 2 full-time staff, and board as we collaborate with our NGO partners. This week, we signed these checks as we granted out over $75,000 to provide better health care for mothers and their families in Mali and Nepal.

pc: ed tanaka Following Jesus is not just about going to church. It also involves repenting, seeking justice, loving kindness, walking humbly, feeding the poor, clothing the naked, speaking up for the voiceless, welcoming the refugee, and fighting for the rights of vulnerable. Sometimes, it's scary but Jesus nevertheless commands, "Follow me." Be brave.
